Quality of Education

We’ve partnered with Reach the Children, Uganda (RTC-U) to introduce a holistic approach to preventing HIV transmission in Kaberabmaido. Stay Alive is an abstinence and family-based HIV/AIDS prevention education program which takes a positive approach to HIV/AIDS education, teaching concepts such as consequential thinking, future planning, abstinence, and hope.

Stay Alive has drastically reduced teen pregnancy rates as well as HIV transmission in 5 other Ugandan Districts. Due to the long-running conflict in the Northern districts, Stay Alive has never been introduced in these marginalized areas until now.
