Kravanh Bright Future Center (KBFC)
The Kravanh Bright Future Center–named by the students themselves–is an afterschool center where students recieve free supplemental classes in math, Khmer, chemistry, physics, computer skills, English and French, as well as internet and email training. Students are selected to participate in this program who have dropped out of school or who are at risk of droppping out. To compliment this program Dimang (Trivani Foundation’s ICM) works with the local school district to reintegrate students back into the public school system while taking supplemental classes at the KBFC.
KBFC teachers not only teach in class, but they also follow up with their students by making home visits. Sometimes they have to go deep in the forest, on difficult roads!

I am a teacher in KBFC. I like the project very much. I’m also happy to see the information describing about the centre in the Internet because we can show it to the world. I’m happy to do everything to achieve the goal of the education project. I try hard to help all my students who consider to drop out of public school. I am very proud of all the KBFC’s teachers who committ to help the students as well.
