Megan McMillan

Megan McMillan began her career in international development when she was 21, where she spent one year volunteering in Angola, Africa. She created and implemented programs focused on child aid, afterschool education, and community awareness projects. She then spent one year in Daegu, Korea and concentrated on ESL education. She’s studied in Hawaii, Wales, and Chile. Megan lived and worked with local people and developed a deep love for and knowledge of various cultures.

Megan got her Bachelors degree in English and her Masters degree in critical cultural Education from the University of Utah. Her work experiences, whether at Intermountain Health Care or the Salt Lake City School District, have always involved teaching and counseling others, particularly those who were suffering or disadvantaged.

As Trivani Foundation’s project manager, whether spearheading programs with widows’ groups in Uganda or water projects for primary schools in the Philippines, she worked closely with in-country teams and on the ground partners to develop our guiding philosophy of empowering self-development. 

Now, Executive Director of Trivani Foundation, Megan is dedicated to empowering the development of those in need around the world.
