We are excited to announce the 2010 schedule for Choice Humanitarian Expeditions tonepal some of the Trivani-sponsored village partners around the globe. Choice Expeditions offer a rare opportunity for participants to  experience self-development in action within impoverished rural villages. On the expedition, you will work side-by-side with motivated villagers to complete  various projects like classroom construction, community water systems, or bio-gas digesters.

The price for the expedition is $2195 per person(with special rates available for students and families). Trivani Distributors  are eligible for the discouted price of $1795. The schedule for all the expeditions is available here.

During the first half of 2010, Megan and I will be accompanying a handful of trips to some of the villages where  Choice and Trivani have established relationships with villagers. The dates and destinations are:

  • Bolivia: Dec. 26-Jan. 2 (Megan McMillan)
  • Mexico: Feb. 6-13 (Megan McMillan)
  • Kenya: April 3-10 (Chris Peterson)

To give you a little taste of what you might expect to see on an expedition, I’ve pulled some highlight photos and a short film clip from our recent trip to Kaberamaido, Uganda and Samburu, Kenya.   Get excited!

At Leadership Conference, as I watched the pictures from our expeditions flash across the big screens, I thought “these aren’t canned photos from some random website. These are OURS. This is us. This is our work.” And it made me feel incredibly humble and grateful.
